I was driving a Blue Chevy Van on my way to pick up my 1964 Superhawk. I found it so ironic that I had never seen one of these bikes before and I am on my way to pick up my bike (that I hadnt even seen before I bought it) and there is one in the back of a pick up!

It was not my Dodge & 71 CL350, I did not drive the truck anywhere yesterday but, I did ride my VFR.
Where were you and what kind of a pick up was it and what size & color was the Scrambler?
Where in So Cal are you?
That 405 is 150+ miles long through So Cal. Wink
Sunday we are taking our vintage bikes to the Rock Store if you want to meet up and say hello.

LOL, in my mind I put that in there but it didnt make it to the keyboard! I was just north of the 10 and south of Culver. The guy driving was Asian and late 40's early 50's as a guess. I think he said he lived in West LA or Hollywood I cant recall. I worked 60 hours in 3 1/2 days. His bike looked spotless! He had a Black Scrambler and for the life of me, I cant recall the details of the truck.

I know I was tired but I completely forgot that I snapped a photo of the bike!

Hey, the bike in the back of the truck is a 66 CL77 with 67 front wheel. Also missing some parts like both side covers and front fender, none the less a great restorable bike with original seat and chrome trim (hard to find). Maybe he just bought it or is getting rid of it! keep an eye open for an ad. Already have one so I'll pass.
Here's mine
