I want to take apart the drive on the rear wheel on my 65 YDS3, but the rubber is all hard and would break if I try. Is there anything to do to soften it or help get the assembly apart (or replacements available?)

Sounds maybe like a job for P-80 . . . I haven't personally tried this stuff yet, but the guys on the britbike forum swear by it. One guy was so impressed he bought quarts of it and gave it to his friends as Christmas presents. It is supposed to make rubber parts very easy to assemble/dissassemble, yet it dries off with no residue. Also, a little dab is supposed to go a long way. I'm gonna give it a try.
