Hi everyone,

Newbie here just posted a hello in the new member forum but am looking to get some info. I need a wiring diagram for a 1982 GS850 L. I just bought one and plan on doing a restoration and want to get as much technical info as possible. Anyone have one willing to share or a great book to buy for this bike would be awesome.

thanks in advance.

Other then the GS resources board which is excellent. There is something else I am going to suggest you get, a repair manual. If you can find an actual factory repair manual, on ebay or at a swap meet, GET IT!!!!!!! But for the mean time a Clymers or one of the old Chilton Motorcycle Repair books will do fine. Before you even loosen up one bolt, get the repair manual.
