I was going to buy a house with my wife but, now I am going to buy a 60 year old Honda instead and then Laurie is going to chop me up into little pieces and use me as chum. _________________ Ray #1

I like it. If I had an extra 20 grand laying around, I'd buy it. I'm pretty sure If I buy it, I'll be the only one in my club to have one like it. Can't be too many of them around!

| Wish I had the space for it. Whenever someone is selling an interesting bike, it is either I do not have the money or I do not have space. |

Hmmmm, the way you put that, it sounds like you're only lacking the space. Maybe we could work out a deal........I have the space, if you have the.........

| I don't think I've ever seen a Honda Dream from that time period. As I study it I'm seeing some definite echoes of a couple of European machines of the 30's. Curious as to what echoes others see in this machine. |

MR C,
if the only thing stopping you from getting that bike is space.... then you probably have enough scratch as well to build a shed to house the rest in as you rebuild this one!
i expect a full and detailed restore... step by step... and im sure i can get you some designs for your new shed.... i know a few architects!
course... I'd also love to see that beauty running and a nice short 300 foot ride or so video!
man... if i had the money... id be all over it... cant be more than a handful in the U.S. in private collections never to be ridden again. _________________ No, actually I DONT sleep much, I have M.A.D.D (motorcycle attention deficit disorder, means i change bikes about twice a year) drink too much coffee, have too much energy and dont do much besides work and motorcycles. |

| Right now I prefer to keep my money close and at my ready disposal. Between Uncle Sam and Governor Danny Boy, I has to do this. Trust me I have been in and around the scene long enough to know that motorcycle's DO NOT always appreciate in value. Besides if I had that thing I of course would want to ride it. Right now I am actually saving my money for a non-Japanese bike that I REALLY want, but that is another story. There are a few of those bikes in the United States. One is actually in Pennslyvania, and belongs to that state's (well probably the east coast's) oldest Honda dealer. As for the shed it will be built in an undisclosed location, in the not too distant future. |

This is the second time I've seen this one on ebay. If you really want one, go to Mid Ohio this summer. I've seen two of them there in the past three years, and in much better condition than that. Rare? Yes. Desirable? If you say so... Figure at least $10K over the eventual purchase price to bring it back from the grave, and I'm sure that's a conservative figure.
