hi my cj250 honda has smoke coming out of the breather pipe .after 30 years in my garage it was time to start riding again. changed gaskets and oil seals re seated the valves .but smoking from breather pipe after running for a bit is this ok?

It could be moisture from sitting too long. Does it go away after a while? When a bike sits for a long time (talking years), and it is suddenly started it is quite common to have water vapor come out of the breather pipe for a few minutes after starting. It will eventually fade away and happen less, until it becomes nonexistant.
