Steve-The pre 74 Yamaha 360s were designated as RT-360s- I would suggest going to the YamahaEnduro.com forum and ask the guys over there as well-Never hurts to try a few options.... _________________ ------------------------

Steve I do have pistons and rings for most of the RT series bikes. But at the current time that is all I have. Currently, any body part is getting very hard to find and is going for top dollar.

Thanks guys. I truly do believe they call this last year RT a RT-3., not a 360. The DT360 first year was 1974 and previous to that it was considered an RT as the engine serial number and frame number start with RT. All here know I am anal about my facts and models on Jap bikes and try to learn every year and model. You guys got it, nothing on ebay for a fender or gas tank. These are getting hard to find so I thought I would try here. Kicks and bucks like a mule as it has alot of compression and a decompression valve. Noisy loud, smokey, vibrates and stinks. I must be getting old cuz I can't even enjoy a good old two stroke big bore Yammie enduro from the past. Oh it leaks from the exhaust both smoke and unburned fuel. I am sure it is over the now recommended 94 dba for noise. How did they get away with that back then. Oh that's right. No regulations to worry about. _________________ You only go around once in life, but if you do it right, once is enough!

Your bike is a RT-3. Yamaha did make a RT-3 model of its trails bike. Which was indeed the last of the series, but not the best one they made out of the RT series. As usual with Yamaha they constantly did try to improve each version in the series. But the RT-1 was perhaps the best in the series. Both the RT and YZ series bikes helped establish Yamaha as perhaps the bike of choice of the off road racers of the day.
As far as a tank and fender go, I will be on the look out for that stuff. I recently met a "scrapper" who found out that I pay 3X what the scrap yard will pay him for motorcycles. So he now brings me any bikes he finds. So far I got a TS250 and a box of TS125 parts. So, it is kind of paying off, well sort of. Steve, as I get older I am begining to like anything that is extremely loud and emits smoke.
