Welcome to VJMOG Trevor. Looks like a very nice bike. (thanks for the picture Wink) It looks like you bought yourself a "rider", not like some of us that buy bikes covered in chicken poop and contain lots of dried up gas. The GS series of bikes have quite a following, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Yeah it was in great shape but had not been plated since 2003 he would just put on 2 or 3 day insurance a couple of times a year. I put on new tires, stator and regulator had to be replaced and a little bit of a leaky gasket and adjust the carbs, new plugs and Bob's your uncle! Here is a pic of being out with a buddy who has an awesome Kawa!

Except for the 80mph speedometer, I'd rather have your bike than his for a useful all-rounder, especially for riding with a pillion. BTW, who's this Bob fellow? I don't have an uncle named Bob. I also don't have anything that's The Dog's Danglies or Works a Treat. Can't you guys speak English? Twisted Evil Welcome to the forum!

Welcome, Trevor. I live/ride in NW Washington State, just a few miles across the
Juan de Fuca Strait from Victoria, BC. If you and your GS750 ever hop on the Black
Ball Ferry to Pt. Angeles for a spin around the Olympics on Hwy. 101, give me a
hollar....me and my '78 GS1000EC would like to make your acquaintence! Lots of
guys with big old GS warhorses on this site. Enjoy!

Enjoy your bike! My love for all things Honda is well known, but I do have a personal respect for the Suzuki GS series bikes. In my opinion they were and still are one of the best all around bikes for riding.

I will take you up on that for sure when I get over there. The same goes for you when you come over to the island next. There are a few of us GS riders here too. And I ride with a couple of other vintage japanese bikes too. I'm on the GSResources site, are you? If not you should it is a great site gor gs owners.

Yes, Trevor, the GS Resources site has the most info about our bikes, especially
technical stuff. I've used the forums a lot to help me with rebuilding/repairs on
my bike. I have to say, though, that the GS guys on this site are very knowledgeable
and ready to help. Maybe see you this Spring for a ride....my GS1000 is put away
for the winter now (as it is 28 deg. outside and icy roads here...). Time for the winter
project (s). Keep that battery charged!
Enjoy your bike, indeed! Thanks MR. CHocko. Like the old bumper sticker said...
