Hey Everyone,

Just picked the bike up yesterday. It's a first bike, so I'm sure you'll hear from me alot.

Hi Sam. Welcome to VJMOG. Looks like a nice bike. Tell us a little bit about it......is it running OK or do you need to do some work on it? Honda must have sold a bazillion of those bikes! There's at least a half a bazillion members that have them. Smile

.............Paul

As of my first post, it ran great. Lots of new parts, etc.

BUT

...a nieghbor knocked it over and now I hear a ticking/clicking sound coming from the engine that increases as I accelerate.

I doubt anything could happen to that engine from the bike just falling on its side that would cause ticking. Probably just a coincidence. Check the valve clearances.

Thanks Geezer!

That's the answer I was hoping for.

It didn't seem to add up, but the ticking was only noticeable starting on the first ride after the tip-over, so I wanted to mention it as a variable.

Any links to how I check valve clearance?

I'm way, way at the beginning learning about bikes.

someone here has posted links to the PDF files of 2 or 3 Honda Repair Manuals for the 350s, search through the forum and I'm sure you'll find them.
