My friend's 1975 T500 with 30K miles has been getting progressively louder mechanically this last year, and will be freshened up over the winter. He's figuring on a top end at the least, but hasn't measured clearances yet. Let's assume for now at the least first over set of pistons/rings. I've begun checking into sources, and was surprised Pro-X doesn't offer them, and neither does Wossner. We aren't fans of Wiseco, so let's not go there. Does this mean nos oem Suzuki parts, from a dealer or Paul Miller? Any other recommendations or advice? He really likes his T500 and wants to do it right, and make it good to go for many more years.

In that case, order the parts from a Suzuki dealer. Paul Miller is okay, too. But he'll pay more than from a dealer.
