Guys, I THINK I can rewind the pulse coil on my '75 F9 (I have no spark, diagnosed down to bad pulse coil).
Anyone done this? Trying to locate the SMALL wire now.

Bike is fixed.... NOS Pulse coil from ebay($50), new battery($15), good to go.
Paid $200 for the bike - should be fun

Hmm... don't know how I missed your first post. Sorry 'bout that.

Not that it matters now, but yes, you can rewind the pulse coil. You can rewind the charging coils too. I did the one for my '74 F7 175 years ago. Works like a champ! I swear, you could smear that bike's spark plug with grease, and it'd still fire... Smile

That sure is a sweet-looking bike. I enjoyed my 175, so I suspect you'll have fun on your 250.
