Newb here, lifelong rider (38 years riding, 32 on the street) I enjoy wrenching as much as riding. Had many bikes, just restored a Yamaha TX750 (I know, it's considered a turd) because I had one when I was 16. I have two other modern bikes, 2005 Yamaha Royal Star Tour DeLuxe and Triumph Tiger 1050. I've worked in the metal trades my whole career. CNC machinery repair now. Hoping to find mre vintage info here, share some as well. cheers

welcome and the TX750 is not a bad bike, provided you give it an oil cooler and use synthetic oil.

I will be at rice-o-rama in some capacity. I was supposed to be vending at white rose this year but a family emergency prevented me from doing that. So it looks like I will be having a small presence at rice-o-rama. Once again I will be continueing to educate a few people on why Japanese motorcycle parts are becoming expensive.

Whatever the well known issues I do recall them being a very inspiring ride. Smooth and torquey power right off the bottom. Light steering and a feeling of carrying the weight low.
