hi

I have a 1970 h1 frame that has the down tube under the tank damaged. It had been repaired once upon a time.....(very poorly, and a long time ago) Is this worthwhile repairing? and can it be done properly as to not affect the value of the restored bike? that is if this frame is to be used for a numbers matching bike restoration...

Hello roadster,

It is my hard-headedness that makes me believe, that anything can be repaired.
To make sure that I’m not going to shoot in my own foot, I would like to see some pictures of the frame.
I’ve never had a reason to start welding on the frames of my bikes, but I would at least give it a try if I had to.

Cheers,

Joost Cool

Hey guys, I don't know if you're in the Los Angeles area, but the guys down at Doctor Jones in Anaheim just straightened my bent frame and they are freaking amazing. I seriously had one of those experiences (customer service-wise and end-product-wise) that I want to scream from the rooftops, they were rad.
