Back in the 90s I was a siding contractor and I would leave my work truck and material
trailer on the jobsite and ride my 74DT360 back and forth home to save fuel costs...
Every morning for 3 months I took the same path to work which was down the railroad tracks
and past a busy radiator shop. There was a 'shop' dog which was always tied up to a telephone
pole across the alley from their shop. I knew how long the rope was and every morning I got
great laughter from the dog as I went by just inches from the snarling pooch knowing he couldn't
reach me...One morning as I approached I noticed the guys from the shop were standing outside
and as the dog took off for his daily lunge at the Geneva Green Monster I suddenly noticed the dog had gone farther than before (what with a longer rope)And I did my best flattrack impression and barely escaped Rover and nearly hit the railroad tracks at the wrong angle. Needless to say I quit going that way and never knew what happened to Rover.
P.S. I still have the Geneva Green Monster

Keeping a dog tied up is cruel, it makes them crazy....

Baha! I don’t know why but that reminds me of "Tucker"

Tucker is a little dog that belongs to one of my neighbors around the corner. He loves to chase me down our cul-de-sac when I come home from work. Naturally I slow down to try and keep him on the hook as long as possible. Cool It’s hilarious. Go Tucker! Thumbsup ROTFL

Cheers,

Dave
