Not that I know of. Not if it is the 1972 model. I have never actually had one of those in my hands (just pictures) The '73 - '75 models as you probably know have a different style air box. So...if you want to stay stock I would say that is about what you are going to have to pay for a new one. Two options.....remove the rubber gasket/gaskets from your old one and burn the old paper filter off. That is if the paper is just surrounding a metal 'cage'. Clean out any old sealer and debris and then wrap the cage with Uni-foam or some bulk paper filter material that you can use...pleating if possible. If you can still use the rubber gasket/gaskets seal them and anywhere else sealing is needed. If you need new gasket...might try looking at some 3/4" black rubber weather stripping at one of the big 'box stores' and see if that will work for you.
Second option: converting to a later model type air box. The bike frame 'shows' to be the same and the mounting brackets only appear to me to be in the same location but there may be some reason as far as aligning with carbs correctly (maybe the pitch of the carb (metal?)intake pipes one the cylinders or something...I really am not sure. If this is a problem free option(maybe someone else can chime in on this mod.) I have a spare complete air box for '73-'75 T500. I can post a picture of it if you want or you can see one on ebay right now. The rubber dual hose on the spare metal air box I have is very hard and will probably be hard to work (getting just right on the carbs) with but other than that it has no tears,etc. I am glad you are thinking about replacing your filter and not just thinking about blowing it out. Too many reasons to mention why but just blowing out that old filter is not going to cut it...in my opinion. I have also just used regular OPEN CELL foam. Just needs to be the correct density and thickness. Good Luck
Edit: Actually, the more I think about it...the '72 did have bigger intake ports so staying to that original box filter with the uni- foam, paper added is probably best.

The tip about removing the old pleated air filter element from the frame is especially useful. I prefer the oil foam cleaner element when possible, so I'm looking into buying the uni-filter material to make my own. In the interim, however, $5 for new lawnmower oil foam elements from my local shop zip-tied snugly into place on the old frame looks like it will work just fine.

Your welcome. I had heard of the 'burn out' idea and also read about it on a Honda forum awhile back. Just thought it may work on that type frame you have also. Thinking about it a bit more...it would be better to run one or two beads of gas/oil resistant silicone sealant/gasket maker(RTV?) rather than the weather stripping idea I had first mentioned IF rubber seals are too hard are not salvageable. When you get a chance, could you measure the overall height and the 'circumference' of the frame for me? Also the depth of the pleats. Just approximate measurements will fine for now.
