Is there a way to tell if my cylinders have been bored out to a bigger size? The piston says "50" on the top of it so does that mean it has been bored out 0.50 over STD? The rings also have a "50" stamped on them. I can still see the cross hatch on the cylinders so I know the engine has been apart before. I don't have the tools to measure the cylinder bore and the only specs are the clearances between the cylinder and piston and the piston and rings.
Any comments would be great.
