1980 XS650 Special. The tachometer faceplate screw came loose and eventually vibrated out of their threads allowing the faceplate to fly around crazily. I pulled the tach and tried to pry the bezel (ring) off, but it's too tight. I have contacted several tach repair shops & they're too pricy. Although one told me how to remove the bezel, I don't seem to be that talented. Anyone have experience in taking off the bezel from either tach or speedo?
Thanks,
Chip Wallace - New member to the group! Delighted to have found ya!

Hope these past posts help and apply to your parts. Should read both threads before trying removal.
