Just scored a 1967 Suzuki K11P off of EBAY. Needed this additional project like I needed another hole in my head. Convinced myself not to pass it up, because it was 20 miles from home. The PO advises that the oil drain plug was stripped out at 6000 miles, and parked in 1970. He is the original owner, so I thought he could answer all history questions.

Anyone owning one, has owned one, restored one ,rode one, saw one, or heard about one; please send me in the right direction. Very few parts available on EBAY. Want to get it running before I commit to "doin' it right"

Thanks for any and all imput. Pictures would be appreciated! Danny Mac.

There was a member here who restored one recently using a club, axe, hacksaw, and a few cans of hammered finish spray paint. Oh wait - I think that was a K15. Same basic bike. Maybe he can give you a few pointers. Laughing Don't let that blazing 8 hp get away from you!

I'm wondering though, why would the original owner of a 3 year old bike, after stripping the drain plug, just park it for the next 40 years? Does that sound right to you? Am I gonna see this guy on the Hoarders TV show? Wink

Stu

No Stu, I'm not too sure I'm going for that story, but I'll ask several questions when picking the bike up. Hope I can handle the horsepower....although I've been beat all to hell on a 100 cc tiddler, and never gotten a scratch on 34 years worth of Goldwings.

With that addressed, anyone got any information on a K11P?? Thanks...Danny Mac.

As Geezer mentioned....I'm the one with the recently restored k15. Yours is identical with only a few cosmetic differences. Check out my thread for some great info provided by the members here.
