The other night I decided to assemble the GT as a mock up, to help me work out which bits were missing, and also I wanted to see some evidence of progress!
So far it looks to be coming along, the next step will be the engine and wiring loom. As well as lots of odds and ends.
So far I have managed to restore the parts I have found, not shown in the photo is the disc brake, shocking it was, now repainted and with new seals, apparently the last of the supply in Australia.
The next point will be picking up a donor bike, regardless of brand, from the same period. For bits like master cyclinder, wiring bits, headlight, pillion pegs, etc.
Also, I will put the links in below to the two .zip files of the GT250 X7 service manual and workshop manual, download them now!
