I am getting ready for new rubber. The bike is a 75 cb360t. I just want the bike to handle well, I don't care about the 'retro' feel so much. Let me know what you guys think.

Don't be fooled into thinking that the rubber needs to be European in manufacture(or at least have a European identification) and/or expensive to be any good. There is a myriad of cheaper end tyres out of Asia that will cope with anything you can ask of them with your bike. Rib front will promote stability but 'track' in longitudinal grooves in the road. A block front will give more responsive steering, not be as thrown by grooves in road, brake better and shift water more effectively.

I have always used Kendas, but I just recently tried out Dunlopes. I love the Dunlopes on the dry road, but the Kendas stick good enough wet or dry. _________________ 1974 Honda CB550 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlZoksL5K7s

Avon makes modern tires in vintage sizes. There are some Avon AM26 RoadRiders on my '76 CB360 now.
The 360 handles so handily that it's hard to notice the difference. On a heavier bike they have quick turn-in and still feel stable. I first started using Avon tires when they had the AM20 and AM21 tires and I like the AM26 even better. I have a set of AM26 for the '75 750 project and have had them on the CX500. The 500 is wearing Dunlop D404 now but it's going back to Avon this year.

The Avon's do a fabulous job tracking straight over an assortment of road irregularities. But, surprisingly they do wiggle around a bit if you are driving on rain grooves. I have had the Dunlop 404 or 505's? and recommend the Avon's over them.
So if you commute 20 miles a day over concrete roads with nice sharp fresh rain groves you may want something else. But if your ride has lots of irregular patchs, lines, cracks, etc, they are great, your wheel doesn't get grabbed so to say.
edit, I'm taking about the Avon Roadrider, guess I should make that clear as Avon may has other series of tires.
