An 'attachment' image (done from within the VJMOG) as opposed to an image from an outside

image hosting site must be LESS than 800 x 600 (799 x 599 or smaller) or the attachment step

will not work.

All pictures on this message board (as an attachment or from an image hosting site) are suppose to be less than

800 x 600 (799 x 599 or less) according to the 'rules'.

Here is the procedure (at least on Windows XP Home Edition with 'Power Toy' resizing program

or other similar program (Power Toy Rezizing can be downloaded from Microsoft) but it should already be in your system. I lost mine somehow in a

pc transition and just downloaded it again from Microsoft.
After hitting the 'Browse' button on the attachment section at the bottom of the posting page... right click the image you

want to show and left click 'Resize Pictures' in the menu. Click 'Advanced' button in new

box..then click 'Custom' and change default sizes to 799 x 599 and hit 'OK'

The new resized pic should appear...probably at the bottom of the browsing window. Left click the new resized pic so it "lights up"

and left click 'open'. Left click 'Add Attachment'...then click on 'Preview' to see if it

worked. Like what you see? Click the 'Submit' button. When posted..the image may be clicked on and the size will increase to (799 x599 or close) in a new window.

Hope I did'nt miss a step and was not too vague....but it should be pretty close.

I just did it. It works great. dorT500 could you put the link to the Windows Powertoy Resizer here as well. I think people will love it. Thanks.

"Anything for the Cause".... Wink

Read and then click 'image resizer' back up in the first pargraph and the download option will be down in the blue righthand column in the next window.

EDIT; The link below I posted a couple of years ago for the download for the MS resizing powertoy is not a good link for it now. As far as I can tell the program is no longer available as a download directly from Microsoft. Sad
