| That is awsome. Use to have one with the blue on the tank instead of the red. |

Cool...TL125...VERY good trials bike...not enough umph for my old 250# frame though...
used to joke that I needed at least as many cc's as I had pounds!

If we're doing vintage trial pictures, here's one of me a few years ago on a 1974 Bultaco 350.

Who would have thought that you could have so much fun riding through the woods at walking speeds

| That is an awesome Bultaco. I bet it has plenty of torque. I have a 74 Suzuki RL250. Actually not a very good trials bike. Too tall of 1st gear and clutch action not easy, smooth enough. Oh well. |

Yeah, that Bul was a torque monster. The funny thing was the factory actually geared the heavyweight Bul lower than the 250. I used a smaller rear sprocket, but still only used first gear for pulling stumps. When it was introduced and given to Sammy Miller to compete, he confided years later he actually used the transmission gears from a 250. If I was crossing a very long creek I would start out in third so I would have smooth tractable power without having to shift.
I always liked the looks of the Suzuki Exacta trials bike. With all that alloy polished up, it was a looker. |
