I do realize this forum is not associated with any club "technically" but I wanted to pass along what I believe will be a great rally for vintage Japanese motorcycles. The VJMC club is hosted and celebrating 35 years in existence with a rally in southern Indiana August 9-11. The location is at the Spring Mill State Park and Inn in Mitchell, Indiana. I am sure there will be great rides in the countryside and bike shows. More details to follow but I thought I would get it out there so people can start planning. Anybody who is anybody with a vintage Jap bike will be there. And if you are not a member it is only $30 to join. _________________ You only go around once in life, but if you do it right, once is enough!

I've got it on the calendar and have asked for the time off already. Gonna call the Inn and make reservations sometime next week. I was at the Bedford rally and would not miss out on the anniversary do-in's at this one.

Well I made reservations this week at the Spring Mill Inn. I called the listed reservation number which handles reservations for multiple hotels and campgrounds. I spoke with a sweet lady, Linda who took my reservations. Be sure and tell them exactly where you want to stay, the dates and be sure to reference the group code to get the special rates. Have them send you a confirmation number. At the time I spoke with them, they had double beds, rooms with 2 double beds, rooms with 2 queen sized beds and rooms with kings.
Now all I have to do is figure out which bikes to bring.
Below is the info from the VJMC website.

Steve & Steve,
Thanks for the heads up on the Spring Mill Inn. I made reservations (cancelled my previous one in Bedford).
For those interested; they still have rooms. Make sure to mention the code.
Here's the address of the park and Inn.

Spread the Word. If you have never been to a national rally for the VJMC, it is a blast. If you have, come again. Great riding in Brown County, Bike Show I am sure and more. _________________ You only go around once in life, but if you do it right, once is enough!

Just made my camping reservations today. I'm gonna pull the toyhauler up there with a couple of bikes on it. I'll arrive Tuesday and spend Wednesday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum! And a good time will be had by all! _________________ Yamasarus

That is where I will stay as well!! I will finally get to met you. What bike(s) to take is the next thing. Make sure and take a bike big enough to do some decent road riding like 65 mph up hills and valleys of Brown County. It is going to be a blast. _________________ You only go around once in life, but if you do it right, once is enough!
