|
|
| Well I am new to this forum and new to owing a bike as far as that goes. I had a 1972 TS185 given to me and I have gotten it fixed up and running good. The only problem that I have is finding a headlight for it. The bulb that came with it is blown. I have found headlights on Ebay but they was $160 dollars or more for them and I can't justify paying that much for a headlight. Therefore my question is does anyone know either where I can get one at a decent price or where I and get any headlight that I could make work. The problem that keeps running me into dead ends is that fact that it is a 6 volt system. I don't care about keeping it original so any ideas of a headlight of off any bike would be greatly apprecaited. Also I know that these early Suzuki bike are noted for popping bulbs at high rpms so I was wonder about putting a voltage regulator on it so help stop that. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions about using a regulator. Thanks. |

Tim,
Not sure where you are with your headlight, but I have a 74 TS185 "Pile of Parts" and there is a headlight that was on the original bike, it looks like to me.
Unless you already, have one, I can post a picture and see if it might work for you....
Maybe for the cost of shipping, or trade any T200 parts you might have access to.
