The car had once been in an accident but was properly repaired, the reason that I'm diassembling it completely is their horrendous appetite to develop rust. These cars were meant for the Japanese market (so RHD only) and there they don't care whatsoever for rustproofing. Apparently the Japanese have a yearly technical check-up after some years of ownership which is so strict that after a while the cost to meet the criteria are bigger then buying a new one. So you don't hardly ever see older vehicles on the road and rustproofing simply isn't an issue. I hope the picture shows some of the horror
