First of all, I recently acquired a '71 RT1, and plan on doing a nut-up resto/refurb on it, within reason. Most missing bits seem to be available on ebay, but not too many carbs.
Does anybody know what carbs from other models/makes will work? The stocker is a VM32SH.
I'll post some before piccies a bit later. _________________ Past Rides:

Where are you located?
That's not the West Bank in Israel, is it? _________________ Fine tuning the proper daily ratio of Maxwell House to Bacardi 151.........

| If he is from THE west bank, not too many people are willing to ship to Palestine. I would because it is my nature. But according to my palestinian friend, the powers that be consider motorcycle parts not humanitarian aide. But it can be done. |

Well, I finally did what I should have done a while ago....registered with a drop-off depot in Washington State. Sellers listing accepted bid, so we'll see.
Bike may be more than a winter project, but cleaned/painted/maybe running would be a treat, at least. _________________ Past Rides:

A bit of sanity came my way...$150, for this '73 RT3. The '71 thus becomes a parts donor for this and a buddy's DT1.

| RunningD, cool find! I wasn't sure what it was, so I googled it and watched a couple youtube videos of one running. Love that sound. I really need at least one 2-stroker, but I still have 1-1/2 project bikes to complete first. Your bike has great lines. Have fun with it. |
