A couple weeks ago I was posting a reply to a thread and a black screen popped up and it said I was blocked from posting Shocked and ever since I haven't been able to get on the site. I've tried three computers and two signatures, but the black screen comes up and blocks me. I sent an email to the webmaster but haven't got a response. Somehow I was able to sneak in using a computer at work. Hopefully I'll be allowed back soon. Sad In the mean time, keep up the good work!

........Paul

ps-if anyone knows why I've been blocked, please email me

Like I told you....if you would just pay your bills and if you weren't such a trouble making pain in the butt bike rider......oh wait a minute.... I was thinking of myself..... Very Happy sounds like it is with your computers paul....otherwise, you would not be able to get in on ANY machine. I don't think any of the MOD's have blocked you.

...........Paul

and by the way, Ray, I paid up way in advance so I know that's not why I was booted.

Yea, yea, I waved my magic chicken bone this afternoon and removed the curse. LOL

You probably couldn’t get in because all 3 of those computers were likely sitting behind the same router using the same IP. What happened is that you posted something that set off the spam filters.

Usually it’s something along the lines of a typo like not putting a space after a period and the following word starts with the letters r and u (Dot R U) which is the country code for Russia home of the spam kings.

Sorry about the hassle, I have been busy as hell with a whole bunch of other things lately and probably just spaced the whole thing off. At any rate your IP is unblocked now.

Regards,

Dave

Thanks Dave. Let's not lose perspective on lifes' priorities. This is a recreational site for fun only. Paul, our webmaster has had some life and family issues that ALWAYS take priority. This was also a lesson for me on contact channels. Thanks for understanding everyone. Keep on enjoying the site!! PS: Got a phenolic brake piston for the CB550K and now it stops too. Cool!

Dave, Steve, and anyone else who helps administer this fine site, thank you very much for what you do for us. Like most of you, I belong to many on line forums, and have found that this is one of my favorites. I appreciate bring able to read ALL of the threads without being concerned about all the BS that seems to be the norm on some of the other sites. Please keep up the good work and accept my apology if I ruffled any feathers.

Ray, if you and I are any indication of the neighborhood, it's not much to talk about. Thankfully, there's enough of the "good" people to offset us. Laughing

It's actually kinda funny that I set off the spam filters. Shocked I can just barely turn on the computer Confused
