Well obviously Im new here and not terribly familiar with the fire of which you speak, however if it makes anyone feel any better, this particular bike was headed for the junk yard before I rescued it, modified it for form and function according to the nature of its corrosion and damage, and gave it a brand new lease on life. Short story, this was not a good condition stock Maxim which was bobbed out, it was in fairly bad shape before I restored it to its current condition. Now it runs like a dream, looks pretty cool if you are into that kind of thing, and should make someone very happy.

Sorry 'tcanough'.... in as much as I always enjoy your posts/replies and agree with them.... I would say there is at the least a noticeable interest in these conversions on this site...how ever few. I myself am not 'into' it. The only problem I have with the ad is the later year of a bike then we are usually accustomed to 'hereabouts'. ...but what do I know? _________________ _________________________________
