I read a thread not too long ago about a member wanting to replace points with an electronic ignition system. He was not able to locate a distributor/vendor who sells an upgrade for a CB360. I could not find the original thread so I am posting this in the hopes that the member will see it. I found this while scouring the Internet.

I bought one of those for my CB350 a few months back and installed it a month ago and it works great BUT BEWARE If you try to install it as it comes out of the box it would self destruct in quick fashion.
There are some clearance issues as the mounting plate is thicker than the points plate so it cant rotate under the valve adjustment locknuts so you need to clearance that. Also the rotor actually touches the LED light when installed as it comes so you have to file the back of it and deepen the grooves where it engages with the advance mechanism so it will sit halfways between the LED light and its pickup then put a small spacer on top of it to compensate so it wont ride up and hit the LED.
If you can handle those small mods you'll love the unit.Works great and even has a couple of red LED lights on the ignitor box that flash as each cylinder fires so i mounted it where you can see it.
I'm not sure if the CB360 and CB350 ignitions interchange.
The company that makes these systems is Autocar in Great Britain .If you Google Newtronics you should be able to find their website.

Thanks for the heads up. For that kind of money, that's BS.
