| That looks fabulous. Congratulations on doing such a great job. I love to see one restored that nicely. The CBX has a great look and those pipes really set it off. I'm sure many hours of hard work went into that project. Way to go! |

Hi Guys..& thanks for the comments...First of all, This was a 4 month project, with as many new Honda NOS parts on it that I could find....
- Yes, the airbox was replaced with the correct one that belongs on the bike...
- Yes, They are "Euro" bars, but here in the States, they were called "Sports Bars". ..There are other parts on the bike that were in the "Sports Kit" also.

Mike,
That looks great! Do you have someone in Grand Rapids who does your paint work? Do you do your own? I'm considering having some work done, but would prefer to find someone locally.
Thanks,
Jim

Hey Jim!..Thanks for the nice words..."Tim's CBX" handles the paint sort of....They send it to "Bretts Bike Works" in Tenn....Absolute spot on match!....."Marbles Motors" in Texas, also does great work...You can check their website for pics.... I know of no one around here that can match Honda's paint exactly, if thats what you want..
See you soon again, Mike. |
