1980 SR250 Exciter. Classic cruiser bike with a single cylinder 250 electric start motor. Little over 7,000 miles on this one. This bike runs nice, is surprisingly quick, and is very comfortable to ride. Clutch works like new, shifts smooth, excellent brakes. I just gave this one a mechanical going-over and a good overall polishing. New plug, oil change with Elf synthetic & OEM filter, new air filter element. This bike is great for a learner, commuter, or just a classic bike enthusiast just looking for something thrilling and reliable to cruise around on. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Original paint is very nice, chrome is above average. The Exciter will need new tires due to dryrot, and the fork seals are just starting to weep ever so slightly. It's been in storage for a long time and I've done the basics to get it up and running again. Clear PA title. I rarely sell bikes out of my collection. Selling this bike and a nice RD250 to make some room, I've come across an opportunity to purchase another bike that better fits in with my collection of '60s to early '70s stuff.
