The motor on my F7 ran just fine. Now, when I try to kick start it, it makes this irritating squeaking sound and refuses to start. This squeaking only occurs when there is compression in the engine. But, when I take out the spark plug and kick start it, it dosen't squeak. Any suggestions?

Plugged exhaust??? Look for a mouse nest in the pipe.

Hard to say without a lot more information.

I've heard that sort of noise come from a leaking head gasket on a 2 stroke single.

Well, I took out the piston today and took a look at it. It has gouge marks in the side and a few pits in it as well. But, the cylinder wall is in great shape. All i have to do is look for a new piston.
