Well, my builder fell through on me. He's bringing my crank back to me this evening. Says his 2cyl jig isn't testing accurate and he's afraid to try it.
Thought I was dealing with a man I've dealt with for many years. Turns out he passed away last Winter Whoever owns it now seems to be at a loss on the Suzuki twins all together.
Any suggestions on a good rebuilder? I want to go ahead and have it done. Not knowing the condition of the rods and such, I'd like to find someone knowledgeable and honest to check it out and rebuild it.

You can't go wrong with http://www.billbune.com/services.html Then there is also http://www.faliconcranks.com/ I would pack the crankshaft in a plastic bag surrounded by foam and put into a cheap plastic toolbox and then into a shipping box. Any new small parts to be used could of course be put into the top section of the tool box. Put it in a shipping box with some padding and it should be well protected. I would of course call Bill Bune first and sort out the details about exactly what you want done and what parts you are sending along and parts are not available etc. _________________ _________________________________

I second what dor says. Never had him work on my stuff (yet) but have heard nothing but good things about Bill Bune. Call him and tell them what you have, also as dor says. Maybe he can find whatever it is you can't. Good luck! Doug

Hoping he can source all crank parts (and not cost a grandchild or two), but from here and google`ing the shop name and "forum" or "message board", I found tons of recommendations and ZERO complaints!
