I don't frequent fast food places very often but I did happen to stop at one a little after midnight after leaving a nightshift job the other night. Only the drive-thru was open. I was jokingly complaining to drivet-thru cashier about having to pay $6.80 for a hamburger and fries. I happened to look down (being on a motorcycle) and noticed a bunch of 'silver' change scattered everywhere. I said "Look at all this money down here!" He says "Yes, we have quite a wishing well down there...don't we? (It was the end of a Friday night) I said "Well..I am getting some of my money back right now" and reached down and picked up $1.60 in a couple of swoops of my hand. There was a lot left. This just happened to remind me of all the stuff I have collected over the years off the pavement (good stuff) that you notice easier from a motorcycle than one might see from a car or truck and certainly sometimes alot easier to turn around, reach down and get it. I have found good screwdrivers, ratchets, a new 3/4" Craftsman wrench, an expensive commercial soid brass propane delivery adapter, maybe a couple of pairs of pliers. That is all I can remember right off the bat. Come to think of it, I have never happened to spot any money out of the corner of my eye while on a bike.....maybe I will go back to that fast food place. Wink

There was a high school friend of mine that would come along with a few of us guys while we ventured into some local woods/creek areas and while the rest of us would walk quickly away from a passing snake he would pick it up or even chase it down if need be. He knew all the different type snakes and knew how to handle them. He would just study it closely for awhile, enjoying it and then gently release it. That always fascinated me.

I saw a billfold in the middle of the intersection once and did a stoppie right there and picked it up. It was only $26.00 but, it was now mine and it had a silver money clip.

That money clip was mine, given to me as a kindergarden graduation present by my Great-Great-Great Grandmother. Could you please send the clip, and its' contents back to me? Thanks for being "one of the good guys". Danny Mac.

Found a $5 bill in the parking lot of the old skating rink on my 13th birthday party. Kissed a girl that night too. I thought I was the luckiest guy in the world. Who knew it would be the two worst things I could find. Now it is the pursuit of all evil, money and women. Wink

On a sunday ride with a 1/2 dozen friends, hit a desolete back road, rocked around the corner to find $120.00 in 20's fluttering in the roadway. I was too slow and only got $40.00, the other guys got the rest of it.

I came across a real life regulation fireman's helmet a few months ago, lying on the side of the road.
Tempted to keep it, but they're very expensive, so I was a good boy and took it back to the firehouse - the fireman was very grateful, it would have been replaced out of his pocket.

Also the normal assortment of bungees, small tools, and other crap over the years. Even a litter of puppies once - all went to good homes.
No money though.........
