Very nice, but about the third or fourth time it's been listed on EBAY. I'd be tired of paying the fees!!!

It is pretty clean and all - but it's still just a K6, and the market won't bear what he expects to get.
K6's aren't particularly rare or anything - and I always hated that green color and those tank stripes, yuk.

Re-listed at the same high starting price. What is it they say about folks who do the same thing repeatedly while expecting the outcome to change?

Apparently, that minute hasn't happened yet! He should have taken the $3150 bid on the second listing and run like a thief. The third re-listing ended at only $1850. Thing is, it would cost a lot more than $3150 to restore a bike to that condition. And then it would be restored, not original like his. So I guess there really isn't much interest in '73 CB450s. We were all stunned at what that '69 CB350 went for.

This is the thing with the later CB450's. Even tho they are considered Antiques and are eligible for AMCA judgeing, they are not very desireable to collectors. Right now it is the early CB450's the Black Bombers that are going for some serious money. To get $3000 for that bike in that condition is very reasonable. On the high end a bike like that should go for the $3000-$4000 range and that is on a good day. Even tho I am perhaps one of the few guys who specializes in selling only parts for Japanese motorcycles and I started when these bikes were just begining to get noticed. It is going to be a while before these bikes will start to go for money that is on par with the British counterparts.
