99% done. Waiting in my pegs and I need to do some tuning. For some reason my plug keeps fouling.

Just looking back at some of your posts and there was a very brief comment about installing new piston rings but no mention of honing the cylinder. I would also get the oil pump going and get that pre-mix out of the tank. I had assumed that when I suggested the pre-mix for the initial startup that you were going to use it for a short intitial start up only. Crank seal? The non-stock carb?/jetting? Non-stock pod? Here is hoping you can just 'tune out' the problem. What type of two-stroke oil are you using?

I actually figured out that the air screw on my carb was all the way in. Got it set correctly and it's running pretty good. Just need to a small bit of jetting.

The rings I bought and put in were original size. The cylinder looked good and currently compression is within spec.

The oil pump is working, and am going to ditch the premix in the tank as soon as I can actually do some test riding beyond my backyard. Very Happy

Small update:

Bumped my spark plug up one hotter to the B6S. This solved my problem of the occasional fouled/wet plug. Starts on the second kick when cold, and first when warm. Also lowered the main jet a few sizes and she seems to run great. Can do any extensive tuning till after my final DMV appt on the 24th to finally get my plate.

The oil pump, while working, needs to be replaced. I was able to replace several orings to stop some minor leaks, but the cam arm is a lost cause and it oozes a little too much. Got a NOS one off ebay for $60, so that should finish it off.

Gonna post a vid of it running in a bit here.
