DT400 barn bike

I picked up some barn bikes the other day and one has kind a grown on me, not my favorite DT but its a 78 monoshock (I like twin shocks better). Heres the deal it wont shift , motor spins good compression , prob been sittin 10 yrs, but the good is tank is purty much perfect , frames good , no broken fins , excellent rims ect and doesnt look to have been trashed. Im torn between selling complete , selling parts, fixing it back to stock and riding the bejesus outa it. Im gonna try to get it in the shop today & pop off the clutch cover check shift shaft and the other easy to get to stuff, Is there anything else obvious and easy that would make it not shift other than shift shaft , cam (term?) spring?

I also scored a 74 360?? completely rusted frame & still need to get #'s.

And a 750 cb 78 with decent kerker on it.

this cat had at least 3 more bikes, and of course had titles but cant find them.

jeepurz, you ar ethe rat bike king. I can't keep up although I did buy one this weekend. Look at the Yamaha YL1 thread. Way to do again. More junk, I mean treasures!

That has a much better chassis than the twin shock.
I had one for a few years, built it out almost to MX spec.
Quicker in a drag race than Kawasaki KX420
