Does any one out there know if the gas tanks on the 1972-73 Yamaha DT 250 and the RT 360 are interchangeable?

I'm currently building a couple dt1's and rt1's and they are the same tank . I looked in the service manual and they should be the exact same tank between the dt2 and the rt2 , they are just a different style than mine . I didn't check part #'s but the frames are the same and the fuel tank capacity is the same . I believe they are the same bike with a difference in the engine displacement [ either engine will bolt into the other frame ] and I'm told a longer swingarm on the 360 and more frame gussets on the 360 as well . Hope this will help .
