Just the few days that I've been lurking here , I see more than a few good folks form Michigan .

Hi ,

Why didn't we have a site like this back in the '70s and '80s ? LOL

It's been too cold for me to enjoy riding in west Michigan ( Grand Rapids ) the last few months . I rode through the 2nd of December this past season . The old girl ( my 750 ) really loves the cold air , but my body prefers a bit warmer temps .

I gave up riding in the late '80s and rekindled my love just a few years ago when I bought a trailer load of scarp that I built into my CB750C ( pic below ) .

I've had a number of different Japanese bikes over the years . Honda : '82 CB750C ( my latest ) ,'72 ATC90 , Kawasaki : '72 H1 ( my 1st 'big' street bike I bought brand new back then ) , '84 GPZ900 Ninja ( this one needed the front wheel just for parking Wink ) , Suzuki : '73 TM125 ( TRM after I got done with it ) , '72 TS185 and Yamaha : '74 RD350 .

So , Maybe I can help a little here and there .

Welcome.
What is the deal with the Michigan representation here anyway? Insane.
Good looking bike. I like that fairing.
I had my christmas present (hand me down derelict '72 500) out again yesterday. Really lik'n it. I was out of bikes for a few years too, just 4 or so. Just a couple runs on this 500 reminded me what it is all about. All my biker buddies said I'd be back. No substitute for it.
They tell me there is a vintage Japanese bike gathering in Hudsonville (where I am) at the Burger King on Thursday nights. Hope to see you there (and me too). Not sure when it will start. I'm game this Thursday but I don't think they'll be much of a crowd.

Welcome,
There are a bunch of us that hang out at the Hudsonville Burger King on Thursday nights. Some of us still hang out this time of year(without our motorcycles).
You're welcome to show up.

Dave
