I needed a little help financially and Gene was there with an open wallet. He is one of two people that helped me come up on five grand so I can get operated on this Monday.
All the money will be coming back from insurance but it was needed now because I do not have any medical insurance to fall back on. It really paid for me to quit doing drugs all those years ago because I aint really a bad guy and I actually have friends I can count on in a pinch.
Thanks Gene, I will get it back to you ASAP.

Thanks Ray, that's what friends are for, to offer help when we see a need. I figure this was a pretty serious need.

I came back from the abyss of drugs too, I'm lucky and happy to be able to help. I don't just offer that kind of help to anybody or for anything either. You have earned my trust and a wrist isn't just a bike part you can wait for. Good luck with the operation. Cool

yep, gene is a real asset to the human race. and he is kinda cute too! Laughing
i know i appreciate all the help he offered last year when matt mcdonough died. but gene seems to be the kind of guy who likes to be in the background. on the [what is it, 4 or 5] discussion boards i know him to be on, he has always oozed class and has been a real stand-up guy. love ya, man!! Bow

Talk to you in a day or two Ray and heal up quickly. It's almost summer and I'm hoping for some time off for some wrenchin and ridin on bikes Wink
