They call me wayfastwilly from my drag race days (89 mustang street legal, 1450hp smallblock, 3400lbs, 7.97 @ 189mph in 1/4 mile on street tires.) WOW what a ride. And the fact that i cant own any bike and leave it stock. My 10 yr old has a 1985 lt 230 suzuki quad with a250 big bore kit and cobra exhaust, and races a 05 suzuki rm 85 with a pro built 105cc engine that will smoke a 125 down a straight. My 14yr old rides a 2001 rm 250 with a pro ported 265 topend that makes the new 450 4 stroke riders go back to there pits wondering whats wrong with their bikes Very Happy . My 2 babies are a 1982 920 virago, i bought it for $375 and it needed a starter. I bought a starter and cranked it to discover the longer it ran the more the front cyl. smoked, needless to say you cant buy pistons and rings for the 920 anymore, so i put a set of 1000 cyls on it, reassembled it and havent figured out the wiring yet. No 2 is a 1982 honda nighthawk 750 for $600 that cranked and rode down the road, a little rough but it runs. cleaned the carbs and went for a 25 mile ride. still needs a little tinkering but i like it. Ill get some pics up soon as i am nurcing a broke foot for three more weeks. Glad to be here, should be noligable and fun. Willy Cool

Welcome! The Mustang sounds awesome.

Here is a video of a friend of mine with a Mustang. He used to run in a street class, but he obviously doesn't anymore (through I'm not sure what class he runs in now).

I'm new myself. My last bike (before I got my '72 CB500 freebie) was a '95 Virago 1100. Great bikes those Viragos (despite flaky starter system, which can be modded BTW, called "Burn's mods" as I recall). I sold the Virago to fund a car fetish (Opel GT that got crashed, now a '63 MG Midget). I'm beside myself with joy to have a bike again! First bike was a Yamaha SR250 that I drove way too far too fast to keep up with buddies riding 1100s. Seized it, rebuilt it, rode it, sold it. Good times, good times..... And a '75 Kaw 900 that was on long term loan from my father-in-law. Fun bike that.
