Trying to get help on installing roller stearing bearings on 1977 kawasaki kz 1000.
Anyone know of where i can get directions or photos that can help me out. Currently have about 1\8 inch gap between bottom of stem where botton bearings go and bottom of neck of motorcycle frame. Crying or Very sad

YO MIKE!!! elr658 here.

Tapered rollers are a huge improvement and a standard upgrade in any of my bikes without them. Adjust them using the Fallaway method, like a HD Dyna.

650hardtail probably got it right. I did the bearings on cb750 and had to look 3 or 4 times to see the cup that was causing the problem. Just looked like part of the tree. http://www.youtube.com/user/DrivenandRidden#p/u lots of video here, skip over the bicycle ones, unless you are into that.
