Hi all, I'm new to this forum, and forgive me if I missed something in my search. I have a 1972 G3SS with a blown motor. The rest of the bike is in very good shape, and I'd like to make a little cafe bike out of her, but I have some questions on motor transplants. Does anyone know where I could pick up a simple 50-100cc motor? I'm not picky at all, and I can do welding to make it fit. I just wasn't sure if there was kind of simple crate motor out there like for cars. Thanks!

Welcome aboard! Sounds like a neat little project.

Here's where I'd start: http://www.dratv.com/

Good luck and have fun with it.

Welcome to the site. Sounds like an interesting project, have you given any thought to finding another bike of similar size that runs, but looks like poop? I would check Craigslist to see what's out there, anyhow good luck with it and keep us posted........Blue
