another of my works

seven fifty

my bike is a seven fifty
nineteen eighty is the year
I have it running, so nifty
it only has five gears

has a header, so mellow
four carbs, big cams
once was yellow
it runs like a lamb

speedo does one fifty
tach redlines at ten grand
people think it's so nifty
the way it travels the land

a custom, it's called, when new
it pulls like a train
I painted it metallic blue
really,doesn't like the rain

twenty kms to the litre
gas is so high
to look at the pumps meter
makes me wanta cry

my second childhood is here
at 47, just in time
I have no fear
[it isn't a crime]

to take a run

"Idle hands are the Devil's Tools."

I use my hands a lot. Rolling Eyes Confused Laughing Twisted Evil

I would upload some of my poetry, but I don't have my binders down at my new place. Crying or Very sad

I miss writing. I can't seem to find the time to do that. And if I did, I would have no chance keeping up with Ray on this new forum. I am already way behind. Mad

I range from dark poetry to love

got about 400 or so, Ill send you a link

a new lad

so tired today
worked til I dropped
isn't there a way?
to have life stopped

maybe slow down
one step at a time
feel, like a go round
and don't make a dime

feet so tired
legs ache so bad
wish, I would be fired
and they hire a new lad

one so young
his blood is fresh
a neck never rung
a spring in his step

just waiting for my gravy train
hope it arrives soon
be nice to end the pain
fly over the moon
