Blue had emailed me pics of this project....I asked him if it would be alright if I posted the pics..He said if I wanted to,. it is OK.....I wanted to. The the descriptive text was in his email to me.. Click on image to enlarge.....Here is Blue's description ....."It is going to stay on the bench in the shop for awhile, got some minor stuff to finish, and we are going to airbrush the Japanese battle flag on the tank, in red of course, and some minor pinstriping on the fenders, front and rear and around the gas cap. It's way to nasty to road test it anyhow, but had it running on the bench for a little while. When the weather gets better and paint is done I'll get some better pics outside. The steering head and lower portion of the frame is about all that is original, everything else was fabricated by me. Getting the frame right was tough due to the dissimilar frame rails, the wide portion of the frame where the swingarm hooked in was modified and now houses the coils, and yes that is a hand gear shift on the right. The pipes are courtesy of Harley and using a spare set of the flanges that hold the headers in the stock engine, reversed bring the I.D. of the Hog pipes to the correct fit. 4140 dom tubing was used for the frame, axle plates were salvaged from the old swingarm, frame stretched about 8", added 7-1/2 links. I fabricated the floorboards and brake pedal and used some of the original linkage parts and replaced the brake sw. with one from a 72 Cadillac. I turned the 2" high risers for the bars and then buffed all of it. A lot of the stuff is polished stainless. The new backbone was a piece of 1-1/4" black pipe, as it was a near perfecr fit inside the stamped metal frame, lots of plug welds and surface welds hold it all together. The frame is olive drab green and the sheet metal is Satin Italian Olive green, all the trim is plain old brilliant red. So anyhow there is a quick profile in some of the build project. Any ? feel free to ask. c-ya Blue" Click on image to enlarge.

| Very nice work Blue, I quite like it. I really like the idea of Japanese military bikes. In fact I am currently building one myself. I like how you have amassed an amalgam of styles. If asked, is it a stretched bobber, a custom, a military bike? Rarely do you see drab olive with polished alloy and stainless. It truly is something different. Bravo
