Hi everyone. My name is Dave. I am 49 years old and I never lost my love for the bikes that were around when I was a teenager. Right now I am working on a 1979 KZ 750 B4 twin and trying to locate an original exhaust system. My daily ride is a 1981 Yamaha XS650 special made up of parts from various years of XS650's. I also have a 1973 Yamaha RD250 converted for off road use only. Finally, I have a 1977 naked GL1000 goldwing that I will soon have for sale (great bike-just more size and weight than I am comfortable with).
I am looking forward to the great wealth of expertise on this forum!

Sounds like you will have a lot of knowledge and insight to offer the forum. My question is "Do you actually ride the RD250 off-road with any sort of vigour?" and if the answer is "Yes!" the second question is "You presumably then nurse various aches and pains from the various injuries you must have inflicted on yourself. You are a braver man than I. Welcome aboard.

Hello from Michigan, pothole capitol of the midwest, I am a fairly new member but have found everyone very helpful. I am into the older Hondas and also a gs750 that I have and maybe this weekend will have a CB900 if it all works out, also have 2 Harleys. Michigan roads are a mess, reason is General George Armstrong Custer came from here and said don't do anything till I get back. Good luck with your projects and welcome. c-ya Blue
