Has anyone ever used a Baja Designs Small battery in there vintage rebuilds?

Basically I want to take out the battery cradle and side covers to make it look cleaner. and was thinking about mounting a smaller battery maybe underneath a custom seat. I head someone talking about the Baja Designs battery over the weekend and though that might work.

anyone ever done anything like this?

thanks,
Coop

Oh, don't get me wrong I love the way they look stock. IN fact we have a 1967 cb160 that my wife and I are restoring to look like new. kinda a family project.

The cb77 is going to be my fun project. I want to try and turn it into something you don't see very often. At first I thought about turning it into a vintage racer, but I dont think I could bare to see it sliding across the track if and when I low side it... god forbid I HIGH side it!

No instead I think I will trick this pony up, turn it into what ever my imagination can muster. then if I am still wanting a good little racer I'll buy a bike from the 70's Smile
