......and if you wind up getting a new flooded type battery.....

Follow the filling and charging directions to the letter. The proper initial filling and charging is critical to get a full service life from a new battery. BTW, just curious, is the engine running when you are turning on the lights and turn signals for testing? Good Luck

Edit: oops...sorry....I now saw that you said you had it running and revving while messing with the lights/blinkers.

Thank you all for the posts. I have since put in a new battery and all is better now. Such a simple fix.

You may not be out of the woods just yet!!!!! Have you checked your charging output at the battery while its running with a multimeter? When you rev the engine to approx 4K RPM's, you should see an increase in voltage at the battery. If you don't, then your charging system is not working and your new battery will quickly drain ................

Maybe. Let's hope so..... Have you checked to see if the bikes' charging system is working porperly? Would hate to see that new battery discharged. Good Luck
