Maybe you need to look in a different direction!
Just by chance, have you checked the voltage at your battery terminals when you are idling at 1500 or less. (when it starts to miss) If it is significantly below 12V it could be the cause of a weak spark. Also recheck the overall condition of your battery, which can be masked when running at speed. A CB350 will run fine w/good charging system at higher RPM's even with a battery that has a bad cell ( < 10.4V after 24hr rest) but would certainly die out when brought back to an idle. If voltage drops below 12V at idle, hook up a 1 amp trickle charger, then run it while connected and see if miss goes away. Just a thought after re-reading your previous posts and found nothing regarding battery condition. What have you got to lose? May be the answer, or just eliminate one more item.
