Gentlemen, plese take the time to email the village of Stockbridge to let them know how much this event means to us. Suzi got some flack this year from the newly elected gubment. She wants us to "kill them with kindness" so lets not be rude in any way. The event cleary is a major success & brings at least $10,000 if not 20K into the local coffers. If you would, send a message to the following addy & forward it to suzi also. Thank you, John.

You are welcome Randy. Sorry we missed you. Please, along with any other members who were not there, email the Stockbridge "leaders" (previous post in this thread) and lay a hundred mailings on them! _________________ 79 CBX

Thanks for sharing red.
I see you found our missing "VINTAGE RICE BURNERS" sign.We had to have a little scavenger hunt for it,it seems it ended up being placed in the wrong spot.We did eventually find it and returned it to its proper place.
You wouldn't know anything about that would you? LOL
Just kidding,it was a great day and I hope the village of stockbridge realizes its value and it continues for years to come. _________________ member "Vintage Rice Burners"

I took some pictures and then realized I didn't have the memory card in the camera. Dah! Great to see everyone. We probably had 40+ bikes lined up at any one time. 1968 Suzuki Cobra T-500 of Gary Greenwood of Leslie. 1975 Honda CB750 freshly restored. Nice 1975 Honda CB550. CL77, CBX's, 74 Kaw Z-1 , Kaw CSR1000, Goldwings, H2, CB125S, GS Suzuki, Ascots, RD & RZ350's, Cafe 500. Johhny5's CB750 custom. Yes it was Vintage Jap bike heaven. We done good again boys! _________________ You only go around once in life, but if you do it right, once is enough!

I didn't here anything about it. Not sure I know where you were at. South side of the square by the yellow CBX ?
Great weather, reasonably priced food, wonderful people. All in my little hometown!(class of 76) _________________ 79 CBX

I was just joking with you red,you have a photo (#15) of the VINTAGE RICE BURNERS sign where it was found (on the north side) rather than where suzi had us at.I assume it just got put there by mistake.
Yes we where on the south side again this year, seven of us including erics yellow CBX,daves XS650 street tracker, jamies KZ1000 MKII,bills FJ1200 two nice GL1000s and one GL1100 skipped church and rode the 90 mile ride to stockbridge to enjoy the festivitys, the more righteous stayed home and kept there familys happy. We are a riding group with the only trailer being the one behind my wing "The RV" for our canopy, chairs and cooler. No queens
To tell the truth,I complain that I would rather be riding one of my CBs to an event like this but the reality is its a good excuse to have to take the wing and be forced to sit in the roadsofa I think they are catching on though. _________________ member "Vintage Rice Burners"

Right on Tory, I was over to your bikes. I was admiring the FJ. I had a friend(rip Dennis) who had an FJ1100. The bike was ahead of its time. He had an 1188 kit 13 to 1 that made 145 hp. Fastest bike I had ridden back then, 10.37. Dennis was 27 when he passed. A "blue hair" made a 5 lane sweep on Telegraph & 16 mi rd. He avoided the car (bike didn't)but hit the curb & broke his neck in 1985. When I see an FJ I think of Dennis Fugate. _________________ 79 CBX
