This is NOT an indorsement of their service or lack thereof. I did use them on my 65 C100 Cub. Luckily, I had made a color copy of my bill of sale (they required the original) when I sent them in my stuff. They got me a Maine registration and plate. That's it! I took the registration to the Ohio Title Bureau to get a title. They said they needed not only the registeration, but also the bill of sale. Great! I have that(note color copy look like the original). Got a replacement title out of it. So, even though they did not get me a title, they did make it possible for me to get one. I have since been told that I could pay $100.00 to the muncipal court and supply them with all the documentation(including bill of sale, stolen bike search report, etc.) and ask for a court ordered title. If the judge agrees with you and your paperwork, you get one. If not, you are out your $100 and have a parts bike ! _________________ 74 CB 750 K4 PART OUT

Another NO TITLE deal on Ebay today -
"I have the original Colorado title that was signed in 2004 but it
has not been registered since the mid 90's and Colorado DMV
says the records have been purged so I'm not sure what it would
take to retitle it. Easy for you to do."

That ebay deal may be OK smi481, as I deal with Colorado titles all the time. Colorado purges all unregistered titles after 7 years, but that's not necessarily a deal breaker. It usually means the DMV clerk couldn't find it in the data base to automatically fill-in/transfer the info into the new title transfer form, and were just too damn lazy to enter it manually. But on the other hand depending on the issue year of the title your trying to transfer into your name there are some titles that have a statement saying "must be transferred within 30, 60 or 90 days, while some are not time restricted, which they could enforce, but I've had them ignore that also. Read my earlier post on how I handle titles based on cleaness. The type in that ebay ad I've had no problem with depending on clerk. I'm not sure it would cause difficulty in transferring to another state, but that owner should try to get it done in Colorado first.

Thanks for the info Rizingson.
The lady who is selling this particular bike reported
that they have owned the bike for 7 years, but have
not "had the time" to apply for a fresh title.
Her husband at the time was "told" Colorado purged titles,
but in 7 years .... they did not have the opportunity to go to
their Sec of State and get a clear title in their name.
But it will be "no problem" for a new owner who may
buy the bike without a title.
